When the younger ‘crew’ at work (Joe, Nate, Julie and Karen) goes out for happy hour every Thursday night, they tend to abide in the drink.  Usually causing situations awkward for the workplace but that are always the topic of Friday’s nine-to-five.

If working at Q-nation (the leading distributor of q-tips in the South-East continental United States, save the Florida peninsula) wasn’t enough of a hell for Joe, he must also balance the interest of his lady love (Julie), his delinquent best friend (Nate), and the ire of his boss (Jack) as each day passes.

Joe and Nate, with the help of Horatio, must find a way to capture or destroy an incriminating picture of Joe’s genitalia on Karen’s new camera.

After Nate is arrested for walking on the highway, which is apparently illegal, (who knew, right?!) he returns to the office Friday morning to find that Sam (the most boring guy in the office) has found out about their weekly happy hour.  Nate sequesters himself in his ‘office’ to formulate a plan, but when he emerges to save the day he and the rest of the crew find out that Jack (the boss) has a security tape of their post happy hour, drunken shenanigans.  (But due to extenuating circumstance, Jack can’t watch it until Monday morning.)

After Jack announced that he will uncover who’s on the security tape and fire the offending parties on Monday, Nate and Joe realize they have to sneak into the office over the weekend and replace the security footage.  Naturally, things do not go as planned, but Nate does get to eat a whole pizza by himself, so that’s good.
